My name is Ibby, and I am a senior at the George Washington University’s Corcoran School in the Graphic Design BFA program.

I got my start in the arts in the 7th grade, learning to draw from life in graphite and charcoal.  Though I enjoyed the fine arts, I found myself becoming more drawn to the functional arts over time.  In high school, I created animations and YouTube thumbnails, learning the basics of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop before gaining my formal design education in college.  In the summer before my Senior year I took the short semester abroad to Copenhagen. The trip change the way I thought about design, and I began to pay more attention to the human-interaction element of my work.

Today, I am a designer passionate about creating energetic but organized design layouts. I have a critical eye and a keen sense for pacing animations. In my free time, I volunteer my design skills to create social media graphics for WMGSO, the largest VGM Orchestra and Choir in the United States. Otherwise, you can find me consuming design inspiration or listening to music.
